How to Sign Up for Venmo

1. Download the app: Get the Venmo app from your phone's app store (for iOS or Android). 

2. Start the sign-up: Open the app and select the option to sign up. 

3. Enter your phone number: Provide your cell phone number and tap "Send code" to receive a verification code. 

4. Enter the code: Input the four-digit code sent to your phone to verify the number. 

5. Provide account details: Enter your legal first and last name, desired username, email address, and a secure password. 

6. Review terms and conditions: Agree to Venmo's legal terms and conditions to proceed. 

7. Link a bank account: Connect and verify your bank account to the Venmo account to enable transactions. 

How to Send Money on Venmo

1. Open the app: Launch the Venmo application on your device. 

2. Tap the payment icon: Tap the "Pay/Request" button, typically a square "V" icon. 

3. Choose a recipient: Use the search bar to find your recipient by name, Venmo username, phone number, or email. 

4. Enter the amount: Input the amount of money you wish to send. 

5. Add a note (optional): Write a note to describe the payment. 

6. Confirm and Pay: Review your payment details, including the privacy setting, and then tap the Pay button to send the money.
